How to use
- Choose one of the three designs. Each thumbnail shows the artwork used in the preview; the current artwork is temporary sample art awaiting the final family Christmas designs.
- Type a family name of up to 20 characters. Keep the family wording switched on for The Anderson Family, or turn it off to print Anderson by itself.
- Choose cream or gold, red, or dark green for the name. Switch between black and white shirt previews to check that the name and artwork are easy to see.
- Download a free watermarked preview to check your spelling and layout. Enter the unlock code supplied with your purchase to download the full transparent print file without the preview watermark.
How the personalized design is arranged
The tool places one centered name line above the selected artwork. Each design supplies its own script or serif font, starting text size, and default ink color. Longer names make the composition wider, so the tool scales the name and artwork together to keep the entire design within the print area. It preserves the artwork proportions rather than stretching it to fill the page.
Fonts load before the name is measured or drawn. This matters for script lettering because a letter can extend beyond its usual text width. The layout measures the visible letter bounds and leaves clear space around the whole composition. Changing the name, wording toggle, ink color, or selected design updates the preview automatically.
Preview and print file sizes
The free download is 1200 by 1360 pixels with a diagonal fbuff.com preview watermark. It is intended for checking the design. An accepted code enables a transparent 4500 by 5100 pixel PNG without that watermark. The full file includes 300 DPI resolution metadata, corresponding to a 15 by 17 inch canvas. The actual artwork sits inside that canvas with clear margins.
Black and white are preview shirt colors. Neither becomes a background in the PNG. Check the downloaded file against both a light and a dark background, particularly when choosing cream lettering. A printer may scale the whole file to suit a garment, so confirm the desired print width and placement with the provider before ordering. Increasing the canvas dimensions cannot restore detail that was absent from the original artwork.

What does the free download include?

Is the shirt color included in the PNG?
No. The black or white background helps you judge contrast while editing. The exported PNG retains a transparent background outside the artwork and lettering. An image viewer may display transparency as white, black, or a checkerboard; that display color is not an additional printed layer.
What happens with a long family name?
Names can contain up to 20 characters. The name stays on one centered line above the artwork, and the composition scales to fit within the print area. Turning off the additional family wording gives a longer surname more room. Always review the complete name before printing.
How do I unlock the full print file?
Enter the code supplied with your purchase, then choose Unlock. Codes accept uppercase or lowercase letters and ignore spaces at the beginning and end.
