How to use
- Set the Reference Time, or click Now to start from the current time.
- Add the cities of everyone in the meeting with Add City (30 cities, from Los Angeles and New York to London, Mumbai, Tokyo and Sydney). Remove the ones you do not need, or Reset to the default list.
- Read each city's Local Time, UTC Offset and Status: Business hours (8 AM to 6 PM), Shoulder hours (6 PM to 9 PM) or Off hours.
- Click a slot in the 24h overview to try another time, then Copy Summary to paste the times into an invite or chat.
Find a meeting time that works across time zones
When a team spans continents, the hard part is not converting one time but seeing every city at once. This planner shows the same moment in each city side by side and marks whether it falls inside business hours, so you can spot a slot where nobody has to join at midnight.
Example: 8:00 AM in Los Angeles on a weekday in November 2026 is 11:00 AM in New York, 4:00 PM in London and 5:00 PM in Berlin, so all four are within business hours. The same moment is 9:30 PM in Mumbai and 1:00 AM the next day in Tokyo, which is why US, Europe and Asia rarely share a comfortable slot.
| Teams | Slot that usually works | Why |
|---|---|---|
| US East + UK/Europe | Morning in New York (9–11 AM ET) | It is mid-afternoon in London and Berlin |
| US West + US East | 11 AM–2 PM ET | Morning on the West Coast, after lunch on the East Coast |
| US West + Asia (Tokyo, Seoul) | Late afternoon in California | It is early the next morning in Tokyo |
| Europe + India | Morning in Europe | Early afternoon in India (UTC+5:30) |
| Europe + Australia (Sydney) | Early morning in Europe | Evening in Sydney |
Watch out for daylight saving time
Countries change their clocks on different dates, so the gap between two cities is not fixed all year. In 2026, Europe returns to standard time on Sunday, October 25, but the US only on Sunday, November 1. For that one week New York is 4 hours behind London instead of the usual 5, and a recurring 10 AM New York meeting suddenly starts an hour earlier for the London team.
Many places do not use daylight saving time at all, including India, Japan, China, Singapore, Vietnam and most of Arizona, while the Southern Hemisphere (Sydney, Auckland, São Paulo) moves its clocks in the opposite season. The planner uses your browser's time zone database, so the offsets already include the correct rule for the date you pick.
Tips for scheduling global meetings
Put the time zone in every invite (for example "10:00 AM ET / 3:00 PM UK") or send a calendar invite, which converts automatically. Rotate inconvenient slots so the same team is not always the one joining late at night, and keep cross-continent meetings short. The status colors make it easy to see who is being asked to join outside business hours.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best meeting time for New York and London?

Does it handle daylight saving time?
Yes. Offsets come from your browser's time zone data for the selected date, so DST changes are included automatically.
What counts as business hours?
8 AM to 6 PM local time. 6 PM to 9 PM is shown as shoulder hours, and anything else as off hours.
Is my data sent anywhere?
