How to use
- Pick one of the eight Lunar New Year designs: red and gold clouds, plum blossoms, hanging lanterns, ink wash, cherry blossoms, fireworks, paper cut or the Year of the Goat. You can also upload your own photo.
- Edit the Greeting, Name, Message and From lines. The card preview updates as you type.
- Choose a Font and one of 16 Text colors, or any color with the custom color button. Red designs start with cream text, which reads better on red than gold does.

Colors and good wishes
Red and gold are the classic Lunar New Year colors, standing for luck and wealth, which is why most designs here use them; plum and peach blossoms stand for spring and a fresh start. Warm wishes for health, happiness, peace and success are typical. Messages about prosperity suit friends and coworkers, while wishes for health and long life suit parents and grandparents.
The script fonts cover Latin letters with accents, so greetings in English, pinyin or Vietnamese look handwritten. Chinese and Korean characters are drawn in your device's own font, since the script fonts do not include them.
